Laurice De La rosa
Dental Hygienist
Originally from northwest Montana, Laurice De la Rosa moved to Colorado to pursue her education in dental hygiene. She graduated from the University of Colorado in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. After experiencing Colorado’s sunshine and lifestyle, she quickly knew it would become home. Laurice spent 10 years practicing dental hygiene in a general dental practice before transitioning to full-time teaching at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. She currently serves as an Associate Professor C/T in the Department of Surgical Dentistry.
Laurice first met Dr. Patodia in 2013, when he was a student at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. Their professional relationship has continued to grow over the years, and they have since become colleagues and longtime friends. They have consistently encouraged and challenged one another to grow, advance, and pursue excellence—not only in their professional careers but also in their personal accomplishments. Laurice is excited to now work alongside Dr. Patodia while returning to direct patient care.
She looks forward to combining her extensive clinical experience, passion for education, and commitment to patient-centered care to provide an exceptional experience for every patient. Outside of dentistry, Laurice enjoys spending time with her two children, Gianna and Marco, who are the light of her life. She also enjoys reading and listening to books and podcasts, staying active, hiking, and paddleboarding. She especially appreciates spending time in nature and exploring all that Colorado has to offer, particularly during the warmer months.
